The small Gallic village is going to receive Gudúrix, the nephew of the chief, who has entrusted Astérix and Obélix with the mission of turning him into a man made and right. But, despite his air of superiority, this teenager from Lutetia is nothing more than a cowardly wimp, and the crash training to which they will subject him does not seem to change much… Meanwhile, the Vikings land in Gaul ready to find a “champion of fear” who, as their magician has promised them, will be able to teach them to fly, since, according to him, “fear gives wings”… When the Vikings kidnap Gudúrix, catastrophe sets in. Asterix and Obélix must do their best to find him. As they launch into the Great North in search of their young protégé, he, who has been involved against his will in an infamous plot, meets the beautiful and fearless Abba and realizes that love can have the same effect as a punch… Quite a clash of cultures!
